DOKU, The Binary World is a video performance artwork with live motion-capture performances by Shanghai-based artist Lu Yang – a real time collaboration between Hong Kong’s Freespace, West Kowloon Cultural District, and the Sydney Opera House.

A multi-camera shoot and multi-disciplinary film involving live performances, with motion-captured dancers in two geographic locations interact in the same virtual environment, creating an innovative artistic collaboration between two major cultural institutions.
